Yoga has always been something I enjoyed. It’s something that slows us down, heals us from the inside, and brings us to a state of peace in that moment. It takes us to a level of self care that we need.
I wanted to become a yoga instructor when I was healing from great loss. I was widowed at 26 years old, with a one year old to support. Through all the pain, I practIced my yoga, I healed my deepest wounds the best I could. It reminded me that life doesn’t have to end when my late husband died. Life keeps going. I’m still here, I love Life.
With all of that. I learned to love again. I learned to enjoy life’s simple pleasures. I even met someone new and married my chapter 2! He has supported me with making this next chapter of life one of the best!
I encourage everyone around me to say affirmations. They make the soul happy:
